Throughout my academic career I was always driven to pursue a career in human rights work. It is an honour to work in a field where I can benefit future generations and assist those fleeing persecution and conflict. I am a third generation immigrant and the experience of my family coming from Ireland shares a common experience with many others: they have come to the Uk to simply to seek a better way of life for themselves and their children.
I firmly believe that our work can bring unparalleled rewards. There is simply no comparison to an outcome where you have assisted someone to receive a grant of refugee status, family reunion or helped navigate the complicated visa process.
At No Borders Law we aim to offer a compassionate legal service that is tailored to address the main considerations of asylum and immigration. We believe that a world without borders is possible, where we prioritise our shared humanity.

I have worked in this sector since leaving school in 2017, Immigration and Asylum was not the area of law I thought
I would be working in. However, since starting my apprenticeship in 2017 I saw first hand the struggles people go through just to live a life of no fear which we take for granted. Knowing I can hopefully help make a difference to someones life, makes everything we do worth it and I know I made the right choice.
Most of my spare time is spent watching TV Series, listening to music or attending Rangers Games. A favourite of mine is called Friday Night Lights as Coach Taylor provides us with the quote "Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can't Lose".
